The Intel Computer Clubhouse Village website is available to our Clubhouse members. They can post their photos, artwork, more projects etc. to the site and view fellow Clubouse members' projects from all over the world.

Meadow Heights goes to Teen Summit

Three members of the Meadow Heights Computer Clubhouse recently attended the Intel Computer Clubhouse Teen Summit in Boston, Massachusets, USA with MHLS staff.

 

 

 

Term 4 Course Brochure

The following courses are all ready to begin in Term 4:

  • Certificate 111 In Education Support CHC30808

This course is designed for people who desire to work with children with disabilities in schools.

  • Diploma of Educational Support CHC 051808

The purpose of the course is to give opportunities to clients who are currently working in schools who desire to extend their knowledge of the Education Support Field .

  • Certificate II in Nail Technology: WRB20104

This course is designed for people who wish to work in the beauty therapy industry, specifically in the nail Technology area.

Broadband for Seniors

MHLS has now been approved as one of the official 'Broadband for Seniors' internet kiosks, located at our Centro Plaza venue, Shop 24 Paringa Boulevard, Meadow Heights.

Broadband for Seniors aims to provide senior Australians with free access to computers, the internet and individual workshop training through the establishment of internet kiosks in the local community.

Senior citizens will be able to learn new skills, stay in contact with family and friends and meet new people by accessing these kiosks.

Public Internet Access Program (PIAP) at Buchan Street

Internet facilities are now available to the public at Buchan Street Community Centre, Meadow Heights.

Days: Monday to Friday
Times: 9:00am to 3:30pm
Venue: Buchan Street Community Centre, 15-29 Buchan Street, Meadow Heights

Please note: PIAP is also available at Visy Cares Learning Centre, 3-13 Hudson Circuit, Meadow Heights.

 

 

 

New Volunteer Roles - Community Programs

    Walking Club Co-ordinator

    Develop a local walking club with support from the Heart Foundation.

    Community Garden

    Assist with the development of a local Community Garden.
