- Theatre Workshops
The BWT (Brunswick Women’s Theatre) workshops through MHLS start each term.
Monday morning workshops involve women already in the project.
Tuesday Workshops are for women wishing to explore their creativity and develop their confidence.
Workshops are also available for men.
Successful completion of the various programs may lead to the award of either Statements of Attainment or the full Certificates I or II in General Education for Adults or Certificate IV in Further Education.
- Taster Workshops (FREE)
BWT extends an open invitation to all women to join workshops three times a week (Currently Monday to Wednesday). These women and their stories are woven into an artistically potent major production.
- Intermediate and Advanced Workshops
Developing a performance for women who have participated in the BWT workshops in the past and are interested in training for a role as co facilitators for their respective communities.
- Expression, Creativity and Communication
Using theatre skills participants explore their own lives and experience to create a collective story using the Forum Theatre method.
Three hour workshops weekly for one term.
- Forum Theatre Festival
A series of small works across our community.
