Meadow Heights Community Foundation



Meadow Heights Community Foundation (the Foundation) is a public benevolent institution established in 2008. The objects of the Foundation are to -

    • provide relief of poverty, helplessness, misfortune, suffering and distress to economically or socially disadvantaged people in the community; and
    • deliver or support the delivery of - education and training; social and
    • community research programs; and recreation, leisure and children's services.

As an endorsed deductible gift recipient and public benevolent institution, all donations to Meadow Heights Community Foundation (ACN:132 860 612) are tax deductible and GST exempt.

The Foundation is just establishing its program and determining the range of projects it will support.

The control and management of the Foundation is vested in a Board of Directors. Current Directors are -

    • the President and Secretary of the Meadow Heights Learning Shop Inc;
    • a Director nominated by Visy Cares Charitable Trust; and
    • two other Directors appointed by the founding members


Giving to the Foundation

We aim to improve the circumstances of our community through -

    • providing basic skills required for living and working in Melbourne;
    • formal and informal counseling and support providing or arranging accommodation, furnishings and other basic provisions;
    • public benefit programs including access and successful participation in post compulsory education and training; and
    • cooperative relationships with other like-minded organisations.
The Foundation welcomes support from individual members of the community, philanthropic organisations and the business sector.

By giving to the Foundation you are relieving socio economic disadvantage, contributing to the achievement of better educational outcomes for our citizens and helping to build a better community.
