In partnership with DALLAS NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE.

This is an accredited certificate for those already employed, or seeking employment, in hostels, supported accommodation, and other aged care settings.

Dallas NH provides quality training with extensive workplace learning. This training is highly regarded by the Aged Care industry.

Individualised support creates an easy introduction to study.

Students are required to have English language skills sufficient to ensure that they can -

  • partcipate effectively in class;
  • complete written assignments, reports and records; and
  • follow direction in the workplace.

It is anticipated this course will commence during Term 2, 2010. It will run two full days per week over two terms. As a guide, in 2009 it ran Mondays and Thursdays, 9:00am to 4:30pm.

Accurate timetabling will be posted to this website at the time of confirmation.

There will be 10 Core Units and 4 electives. The full range of Electives has been tabled below; however, electives offered shall be decided according to the majority of Tutor and Enrolee preferences.
