This program is a powerful change management tool. Frontline managers are central to improved productivity in the workplace. The workplace becomes the 'classroom' as participants improve their management skills on the job. Participants take on important tasks and relevant projects which are the vehicle for developing new skills and knowledge. Both the organisation and the participants benefit from this approach, which contributes to the development of a learning culture.
The course is customised to meet the enterprise needs. Typically the program begins with a diagnostic assessment, which recognises competencies already held and results in an individual training plan. Frontline Management is a nationally recognised management qualification concentrating on transferable management competencies. Participants will be able to apply these skills to advance to more senior management positions.

The Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management) includes 10 units of which you are to select 8. You must complete:
- 5 compulsory units.
- 3 elective units.
Each unit includes information and activities that will allow you to develop the skills and knowledge you need to manage your work performance and that of others.
The maximum time frame to complete all 8 units is 18 months.

This course trains you to manage people, information and resources at a Diploma level. It incorporates some of the subject matter of the Certificate IV of Business (Frontline Management) but adds additional details and units appropriate to the Diploma recognition.
To be awarded the Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) you must complete 11 units. Each unit includes information and activities that will allow you to develop the skills and knowledge you need to manage your work performance and that of others. You must complete 8 units in the core units group, and any 3 other units from either the elective or compulsory group.
The maximum time frame to complete all 11 units is 2 years.
