This course is for students with no previous contact with English,
or those with few elementary skills. The course covers recognition

The Australian Citizenship course was developed to give learners in the Adult Migrant English Programme (AMEP) an introduction to topics in Australian civics and to assist them in their applications for Australian Citizenship.
The broad objectives of the course are to -
- help prospective applicants for Australian Citizenship to gain a more thorough knowledge and understanding of the meaning of Australian Citizenship;
- provide an overview of Australia's history and institutions; and
- assist AMEP students in applying for Australian Citizenship by streamlining the application process.
