New Volunteer Roles - Community Programs

• Walking Club Co-ordinator

Develop a local walking club with support from the Heart Foundation.

• Men's Shed

Assist with the development of a local Men's Shed.

• Community Garden

Assist with the development of a local Community Garden.

Buchan Street community Centre

• Proposal for Major Redevelopment

MHLS has submitted a proposal for Commonwealth Government funding to enable a major redevelopment of the Buchan Street Community Centre in Meadow Heights.

This is exciting news for you, our course and 'active community' participants. We will keep you posted on progress.

• Cert III in Education
  This is the Teacher's Aide qualification.
  Fee $1,158
  

  Sunbury:
  Day course. Monday 9:30 am to 3:30 pm

  Meadow Heights:
  Evening course. Wednesday 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 7 Oct to 11 Nov

• Certificate IV in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking)

An additional course will start in Craigieburn in 2009 subject to demand.

• Responsible Gaming Accreditation

This is one of the selected individual units in the Hospitality qualification.
An additional course will start in Gisborne in Term 3 subject to demand.

• Beauty - Cert III

Attwood House Community Centre: starting Mon 20 July

'Shop 24' is the new name for our children's and teens' computer club.
